Appliance Install Technician

About the Role

CSC ServiceWorks is hiring an Appliance Install Technician in Norcross, Georgia to prepare, deliver, install, and service residential laundry equipment in customer homes. With nearly 100 years of experience serving 40 million people across the U.S. and Canada, CSC ServiceWorks is seeking a skilled appliance installation technician who combines technical expertise with excellent customer service to ensure every installation meets company standards.

What You'll Do

• Prepare equipment for delivery by assembling required parts and loading on company trucks
• Clean and test washers and dryers at the warehouse prior to loading
• Operate a company truck to deliver, pick up, and transport appliances to residential locations
• Unpack, inspect, and document any damage or issues with appliances upon arrival at customer homes
• Safely unload and install residential laundry equipment using appropriate handling tools and safety procedures
• Install and connect equipment including water, electrical, gas, and venting components as applicable
• Level, test, and troubleshoot equipment to confirm proper operation before leaving the installation site
• Remove packaging materials and ensure the installation area is clean and orderly
• Communicate professionally with customers, confirm equipment placement, provide equipment overview, and ensure satisfaction
• Respond to service calls to diagnose and perform in-unit repairs on washers and dryers, including replacing parts and resolving leaks and electrical issues
• Troubleshoot mechanical repairs and escalate complex or recurring issues to leadership
• Maintain accurate documentation including delivery logs and service records in compliance with company and DOT regulatory standards
• Safeguard and maintain assigned company vehicle
• Work independently while remaining responsive to dispatch and support teams

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of related experience in appliance installation or repair
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to obtain a Motor Carrier Medical Examiner's Certificate
• Valid forklift certification per local government regulation and company policy
• Strong mechanical aptitude with technical experience with washers and dryers preferred
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, gas fitting, and venting ideal
• Ability to lift 35-100 pounds regularly and work in various environmental conditions
• Ability to walk numerous stairs, drive long distances, and maneuver in restrictive spaces
• Valid computer, smartphone, and tablet skills with proficiency in routing tools and digital documentation systems
• Ability to read and interpret installation manuals, safety procedures, and product documentation
• Experience with large power tools and large appliance installation preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills with courteous, customer-focused demeanor
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Flexibility to work Tuesday-Saturday schedule as needed

Compensation & Benefits

CSC ServiceWorks offers competitive compensation ranging from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour.
