Appliance Installer

About the Role

Kraft Appliance Service is hiring an Appliance Installer to join our team in Charlottesville, VA. As an appliance installation technician, you'll be responsible for the setup and installation of household appliances, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional with strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to meet tight deadlines.

What You'll Do

• Install home appliances and equipment in customer residences
• Ensure efficient use of materials and maintain company vehicles and equipment in proper working condition
• Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
• Perform additional duties as needed, including cross-training in related positions
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, employees, and customers throughout the installation process

What You'll Need

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis and up to 100 pounds occasionally without assistance
• Physical capability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances, including standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
• Strong communication and time management skills

Compensation & Benefits

This appliance installation position offers $20.00–$30.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) matching, health insurance, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, paid holidays, paid vacation, half-day Fridays with full pay, and commission and performance bonuses.
