Appliance Installer

About the Role

Storr Logistic Services, Inc is hiring a skilled Appliance Installer in Raleigh, NC to deliver, install, and set up household and commercial appliances. This appliance installation technician role combines technical expertise with strong customer service, requiring someone detail-oriented and capable of working independently at customer locations throughout the Raleigh area.

What You'll Do

• Assist with delivery and installation of household and commercial appliances including refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, and dryers
• Ensure appliances are properly connected to power, water, gas, or ventilation systems
• Test appliances to confirm proper function post-installation
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues during installation
• Provide customers with instructions on appliance use, care, and safety precautions
• Maintain clean and safe work environments at installation sites
• Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and dispatch personnel
• Complete and submit required documentation including installation reports and service records
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in appliance installation, HVAC, electrical work, or similar trade
• Knowledge of appliance installation procedures including electrical and plumbing connections
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy appliances safely
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel to customer locations and work flexible hours as needed
• Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Pass DOT physical, drug screen, criminal background investigation, and job performance reference check as required
• Certification or training in appliance installation or related trade (preferred)
• Experience with gas appliances and proper safety procedures (preferred)
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations (preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

$20–$22 per hour
