Commercial Food Equipment Service Technician

About the Role

Quick Servant Co Inc, a leading provider of HVAC, cooking equipment, and refrigeration solutions for commercial clients, is hiring a Commercial Food Equipment Service Technician in Williamsburg, VA. With over 45 years of experience, we're seeking skilled technicians to install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial food service equipment while delivering exceptional customer service across Maryland, Delaware, Washington D.C., and Virginia.

What You'll Do

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all types of commercial cooking equipment including convection ovens, steamers, slicers, soup wells, dishwashers, steam kettles, pizza ovens, fryers, coffee machines, and exhaust systems.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on commercial hot side equipment while ensuring compliance with EPA regulations.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve appliance issues efficiently.
• Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations.
• Provide exceptional customer service while delivering and servicing equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition and adhere to safety protocols.
• Participate in on-call schedule and work from home dispatch model.

What You'll Need

• 3 years of verifiable experience with service and/or installation of commercial food equipment.
• Valid Driver's License (required).
• CFESA certification (preferred); Universal CFC certification is a plus.
• Mechanical troubleshooting expertise and ability to read schematics.
• Certification with Rational equipment and combi ovens is a plus.
• Accountable for proper truck inventory and accurate service reports.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Clean and professional appearance.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work on-call schedule.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $25.00–$40.00 per hour, Full-time
