Join NVA & Associates as a Full Time Residential Major Appliance Technician in Auburn, Alabama, where you'll diagnose and repair major household appliances in customers' homes. This full-time appliance repair technician position offers a daytime schedule and the opportunity to work independently as the trusted face of our service, keeping homes running smoothly with expert solutions for refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers, and HVAC units.

What You'll Do

• Perform in-home repairs on major appliances including refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC units with precision and efficiency
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues
• Disassemble, diagnose, repair, and reassemble appliances to ensure optimal functionality
• Operate a box truck or similar delivery vehicle safely to reach customer locations promptly
• Conduct equipment repairs on refrigeration systems and HVAC components while adhering to safety standards
• Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance recommendations
• Complete detailed service reports documenting repairs performed, parts used, and recommendations for future maintenance

What You'll Need

• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in major home appliance repair with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Valid EPA Certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately for efficient diagnostics
• Knowledge of sealed systems, refrigeration systems, HVAC components, and electrical wiring
• Strong customer service skills that foster trust and satisfaction during in-home visits
• Experience with field service operations using a box truck or similar delivery vehicle
• Willingness to undergo drug test and background check in accordance with local laws
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on appliance repair experience

Compensation & Benefits
