Installer & Service Technician

About the Role

AES Hearth & Patio, a leading retailer of alternative heating, custom fireplaces, and outdoor living products, is seeking an experienced Installer & Service Technician in Newville, PA. This is your opportunity to join a growth-oriented company where you'll install and service gas, pellet, and wood hearth appliances for residential customers across multiple locations.

What You'll Do

• Clean and troubleshoot Heat-n-Glo, Harman, Quadrafire, Hearthstone, and other manufacturer hearth appliances
• Install gas, pellet, and wood stoves, inserts, and fireplaces in customer homes
• Safely setup and work at heights from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and roofs
• Use computer-based invoicing software (Evosus) to document work and process payments on mobile devices
• Perform service calls and troubleshooting for existing installations

What You'll Need

• Two or more years of experience as a Lead Technician and Hearth Appliance Installer
• Current NFI Gas Certification or ability to pass certification within 1 year
• Proficiency with computer-based invoicing software
• Friendly, team-oriented approach with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions

Compensation & Benefits

AES Hearth & Patio offers a competitive compensation package including an estimated salary of $96,025 per year, vacation and holiday pay, a retirement plan with company match, and shared health, vision, and dental benefits. Overtime and double-time opportunities are available but not required.
