White Glove Furniture Installer / Mover

About the Role

The Delivery Source is hiring a professional White Glove Furniture Installer and Mover in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will handle the safe transport, careful handling, and expert installation of high-end furniture and home goods at residential and commercial locations, delivering exceptional white glove service with meticulous attention to detail.

What You'll Do

• Handle furniture with utmost care to prevent damage during transport and installation
• Inspect furniture and home furnishings for damages or flaws before leaving the warehouse and before items enter the final destination site
• Strategically load and safely unload delivery trucks with furniture and items
• Open, inspect, assemble, and install all items as directed by the client
• Display courteous interaction and communication with clients to ensure proper furniture placement
• Ensure cleanliness of truck interiors and perform basic vehicle maintenance
• Maintain accurate delivery records, obtain customer signatures, and take photos as proof of delivery
• Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with company policies and road safety regulations
• Process waste products and perform trips to the transfer center as needed
• Report any damages or maintenance issues promptly to supervisor or manager
• Receive and stage incoming freight packages in the warehouse as secondary duties

What You'll Need

• 1+ years of furniture delivery or moving experience required
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record (CDL not required)
• High attention to detail with product handling and installation
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with assembly of furniture and home goods using hand and power tools
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• U.S. Citizen status required
• English language proficiency required
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry furniture and boxes weighing in excess of 100 lbs
• Ability to walk, stand, squat, climb stairs, bend, twist, and reach frequently
• Capability to work in variable temperatures and confined spaces safely
• Willingness to work flexible hours if jobs exceed scheduled time
• Must pass drug screening prior to employment

Compensation & Benefits

Starting pay is $18–$21 per hour depending on experience, plus opportunity for tips. Weekly pay. Full-time employees receive major holidays paid (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day), and weekends off. After the 90-day introductory period, full-time employees gain access to dental, vision, life, short-term disability, and critical illness insurance. PTO becomes available after 1 year of full-time employment. Overtime opportunities may be available.
